Santa adapts well to each family’s preferences and traditions, leaving presents wherever suits the family, be it in a stocking or not, under the tree, indoors or even outdoors.
So let us know where Santa leaves presents in your house – is it the same as when you were younger? Is there a story or reason for that place?
Love Santa’s Elf
Our children leave their stockings at the end of their beds, so full stockings is what they see first on Christmas Morning.
I remember a friend a few years ago who had a 13 year old daughter still visited by Santa. However, she was very nervous of a man entering her house and room during the night, so Santa kindly left her presents on the front verandah each year. I guess that wouldn’t work so well in the northern hemisphere, but it’s ok in Australia!
As kids, we always had our stockings at the end of our beds, too. But if Santa gave something to all 3 of us, he left that under the tree rather than on only one bed!
Always in the lounge room when I was growing up – and we do the same with my kids.
We leave stockings at the end of our beds, too. Sometimes, Santa leaves it on the floor (or it falls there) so we think we got nothing in the morning!!!!!
Then we grab our stockings and run to wake up mum and dad.
