Imagine posting a letter to Santa and looking down into his workshop below!
At least you’d know he got your letter very soon – although reading it may take him a little logner as he gets LOTS of letters every day.
I came across this picture in an email and fell in love with it. It is really a chalk drawing on the footpath – there is no hole in the ground to see Santa, and we all knows Santa lives in the north pole anyway – but I love the thought and the drawing itself is amazing!
* I would love to attribute this to the right person but I only know the creator as ‘The Chalk Guy’. If anyone has his name, or a link to his site if he has one, please let me know.
That’s awesome! I’m going to keep an eye out for cracks where I can see into Santa’s below ground workshop now!
His name is Julian Beaver. Google him and see the other incredible work he has done.
Thank you for letting me know his name Jean! JUlian is very talented – and clever for thinking of such a public display of his work, too.
Thank you for posting that – it is a fantastic picture! Really feel ike I could jump in and help Santa inhis workshopp!
I am going to google him too Jean. I have seen a series of such pictures unrelated to Christmas once in a newspaper and thought this is great graffiti. I enjoy art. This is exceptional. See how his crayons are on the ground!:)
His work is amazing, Magic Pixel.
The crayons are on the edge of the photo – but notice hwo they seemot overhang the drop into Santa’s workshop? Such a little detail just adds to the entire ilusion. Maybe he’s as magical as Santa – ok, not quite but heading that way!
That is incrediable ! The candle on the desk, looks like it could burn your finger tips. The local town has a contest where kids draw a holiday picture, and the 15 winners get to paint their artwork on store windows in the area. Although that is wonderful, this really stands out!
We have numerous shops that put up kids’ drawings for occassions such as Christmas so you see wall of colour which is really nice. I don’t think I’ve seen any on windows though.
But that chalk drawing is in a league of its own!
