Santa is just finishing up at the North Pole in preparation for his big trip Down Under (and elsewhere in the world!)
The excitement is certainly building in our house, street and community (especially as all the end of school year things are underway, too. Are you feeling excited or are you still caught up in the busyness leading up to Christmas?
Love Santa letters
Of course, Australia Post is very busy at this time of year which means we can’t be sure how long letters will take to reach children now. So letter orders will soon be closing – and we suggest not ordering personalised letters for anywhere with longer delivery times.
Deliveries to Melbourne and Sydney – close Thursday 19th December
For orders to children in Melbourne, we can accept these on Friday 20th December but do not promise delivery before 24th December. Please contact us if you would like us to try.
Deliveries to other capital cities and Victoria – suggested deadline is Wednesday 18th December
Deliveries to other rural areas – suggested deadline is Tuesday 17th December or sooner
If you have not ordered letters by those deadlines, you can order an emailed version instead. These letters are on the same backgrounds and professionally written but are not personalised and obviously come without the physical surprise and are emailed rather than mailed.
Cant wait for this years christmas , !
Yes, it is almost that time of the year again. Everyone will be looking forward to the holidays and all the gifts they are going to get from Santa. Letters will be written and sent from all across the world and Santa will have his hands full, of things to do!
Santa is a very busy man at this end of the year, that’s for sure!
Despite all the busyness, I know I’m looking forward to all the magic and excitement – and I’m sure Santa is looking forward to it, too!
The more I read this blog the more anxious I become of the waiting! The autumn just need to clear. I have gotten useful tips on how to do lanterns myself this year. I started already a little bit yesterday. Is it too soon?
Nah, it’s never too soon to start having Christmas fun! I think shops etc sometimes start promoting their Christmas sales too early but at home – go for it! Apart from spreading out the fun, it reduces stress in December anyway.
There never seems enough time for all my Christmas ideas in the lead up to Christmas!
Here we are a year later and I’m still as excited as I was last year. The feeling never seems to change. I keep imagining how stuffed Santa’s mailbox must of been last year. I’m sure it must be full this year too.
Glad you are just as excited as last year, Sorrowscal 🙂
Lots of lovely children do write to Santa (and some even send him thank you letters afterwards!) so yes he gets a very full letterbox!
