And Happy New Year!
I love the picture of the little boy and girl dressed up so cute. It reminds me of my kids when they would have christmas plays at school. They would have to dress up and they would be so darn cute.
Christmas plays are a wonder. It’s a shame all schools don’t do it anymore, at least not in my region 🙁 It bring so much joy to us parents!
I think it is sad that many places are ruling against Christmas concerts and parties to not offend others – it is part of our culture to do such things and they are so much fun.
They are very cute aren’t they? I may be biased of course, but they were so happy dancing around in their costumes and I think that shows through in the photo.
That is so cute
I agree with the previous commentaries. Really cute.
Just wanted to add that christmas should really be spent with as many people as you can. If you dont have a big family, get together with your friends, your neighboor, your work friends… I bet no one will be offended to get an invite even if chef choose to spend their holidays in other ways or with their family.
I agree – people can say no but I doubt they’d be offended at being invited to join in and share some happiness.
I know people who only manage quick visits to family on Christmas Day because they are going to a few friends’ events as well!
One classic Christmas song says “Its the most wonderful time of the year!” indeed specially for the children and our old folks! here in the Philippines, this joyful season starts on the first of September, when some people start putting up Christmas decors like the Parol or Christmas lanterns. It usually ends after the Three Kings celebration on January 6!Carolers are everywhere and parties are almost endless!’
Wow, you start celebrating in September! That is a long Christmas, Cristina!
I love this post, it is so inspirational. I must say, it was the picture of the little boy and sweet angel girl that captured my attention. Thank you for a wonderful article.
You’re welcome Mary – and I do think it is a gorgeous picture of two wonderful little people, too 🙂
Not sure if this is the right place to say this since it’s both late, and not the right year, but I wanted to wish everyone a merry belated Christmas for 2014 and wish you all good luck along with a happy New Year as well.
